The twist in the tale occurs when Pranav decides to cheat on his wife by going into multiple relationships, and one of them includes a model named Simran. It addresses all the copious complexities within a modern-day relationship driven by manipulation, greed, lust, and cravings. The web series deals with all these cooked relationships. It shows how each of the characters sorted their problems in the end.
The performance
Each of the actors and actresses played their role excellently. Navdeep’s role matched him perfectly as he brought a bit of class and dignity to its character despite its not-so-good intentions. Even though he played his role as a womanizer, Navdeep feels as if he is not marriage material. Bindu Mahadavi played her part well, and her portrayal as a modern-age woman who is selfless and independent within her thoughts exudes confidence. Chandi Chowdary and Hebah Patel played their roles perfectly. Chandi’s character gave an exciting curve, while Hebah’s character knows how to take charge of a situation with intelligence. Akshara and Raja came up with acceptable performance and made their demeanour felt.
The analysis
Mastis stands out as those webseries, which the Telugu digital platform represented the concerns of an urban lot correctly. The characters carry a remorseful, firm and ambitious purpose to their lives and also have clear objectives, which is way beyond their love interest. The lines between the bad and good have gotten completely blurred out. The story has humanized all the characters and has portrayed them with flaws.
