Another Rainy Weekend in South of Market

TweetLooks like more rain on the way this weekend. We knew we couldn’t escape the entire winter with no precipitation. I just wish it wouldn’t always seem to fall on the weekend. Not that it matters for me as I will be spending my Saturday at an all-intensive, 8 hour childbirth preparation course. As excruciating as that might be, I’d rather be doing that than standing out in the rain waiting to see the Hunger Games (check movie theater listings for SOMA here). For those of you who are looking for something to do, here are some great suggestions right here [...]Read the full article...

It’s a Championship Weekend in SOMA!

TweetUnfortunately, it looks as though this weekend won’t look anything like the photo above, snapped a couple of weeks ago out at Mission Creek Park. We’ve been saying for months how we need rain, and here it is. And as it always seems to go, when it rains in San Francisco, it pours. I’m not sure who that will benefit in Sunday’s NFC Championship game at Candlestick. But if the weather dictates much, it will dictate where I watch it (from my couch). Other than that, there are some things happening around the neighborhood this weekend. Let’s take a look. [...]Read the full article...
