OVERVIEW
LiveSOMA.com is a website for the South of Market Neighborhood. Updated daily with local reviews, opinion and commentary provided by staff and guest writers covering everything that’s going on in the neighborhood. The goal of LiveSOMA is to provide the community with a comprehensive directory of most known businesses in the neighborhood, including photos, reviews and contact information. It’s also a place for all members of the community to share, comment and strengthen the overall ‘living experience’ in one of the premiere, up and coming neighborhoods in San Francisco.
HISTORY
LiveSOMA.com launched in June, 2009 as an attempt for a new member of the neighborhood to grasp all of the benefits and disadvantages of the local community. After 20+ years spent living in the New York City area, I decided to quit my job and follow a girl to San Francisco. I married her along the way, but still have no job in a rather unfriendly economy. With my time off, I intend to discover this neighborhood for the first time, and hopefully become the ultimate source for information on the South of Market community.
