Updated Post on June 21st:
So it appears we may have jumped the gun a bit on the Tres Truck yesterday. According to our friends at Tres, the truck will primarily be used for special events and catering, with some additional support to their kiosks inside AT&T Park on game day.
Their trial run at the SOMA strEAT Food Park (428 Eleventh St.) last week was just that, a trial run, where they could work out those new truck kinks prior to the official launch.
If you would like to have the Tres Truck attend one of your private events, just reach out to Carolyn Kissick by emailing her here.

“If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.” That’s one way for the brick and mortar restaurants to combat the new food truck craze in San Francisco. And that’s exactly what Tres (130 Townsend St.) plans to do, starting this afternoon in their South Beach parking lot.
According to the new truck’s Facebook Fan Page (you can also check them out on Twitter @trestruck), they’ve been slinging bacon-wrapped hot dogs, tacos, elote, chicharones and agua fresca since this past Saturday at the new Food Truck Park (428 Eleventh St.) in Western SOMA. But the “Official” kickoff starts tonight.
Join us Wednesday June 20 in the Tres parking lot (130 townsend) from 4-7pm for our launch party!! Happy hour drinks, music, shenanigans, and of course, cuisine de la calle!!
Sounds like a party. For more information, check out their fan page.
