Anyway, as we reported last week, AQ Restaurant & Bar (1085 Mission St.) is close to opening. So close, in fact, that as of lunch time this morning, they will be serving up some seasonal fare!
We managed to get our hands on their Full Fall Lunch and Dinner Menu, which you can view right here.
It looks like dinner starters will run from $9 – $13, while full entrees will sell for $24. As for some of the highlights? How about some Lamb Tongue with French lentils, smoked medjool dates and hibiscus onions ($13)? Too adventurous? Maybe some Suckling Pig (with honey crisp apples, fennel pollen and toasted spelt milk, $24) will get your palate working overtime?
As for drinks?
AQ features an extensive beverage program including wine and beer from around the world. The 200+ bottle wine list covers all major regions or varietals, with a focus on wines that epitomize an AVA, style or terroir.
Price points are approachable with the majority of bottles in the $35-60 range. The bar offers 3-4 seasonally rotating beers on draft as well as 12-15 varieties by the bottle. The majority of beers are locally sourced from small producers, complemented by a few exceptional Old World selections.
AQ will be open for lunch Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting today. Dinner runs Monday thru Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. They’ll also be serving Sunday Brunch from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. For more information, check out their listing in our SOMA Business Directory.
