Monday: District 6 Supervisor Candidate Forum, Part 2

I know where I’ll be on Monday Night! The South of Market Business Association- in partnership with a number of other local Neighborhood and Business Associations- will be hosting the “top candidates” for a discussion on “critical business issues” throughout the District this Monday night from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

I’ve reached out to some of the local insiders to see if they know who the “Top Candidates” are, but I’m guessing that the list will include Jane Kim, Debra Walker, Jim Meko, Theresa Sparks and possibly Elaine Zamora (Note: the ONLY Candidate who has not responded to our Candidate Corner Survey). I’ll update the list if I hear more.

According to my correspondence with SOMBA, you are “required” to RSVP to the event via a secondary website here. However, I RSVP’ed two weeks ago and never received any sort of Confirmation, so I’m sure that you can just walk in and nobody will turn you away. Besides, they claim you were supposed to RSVP by August 9th, but the last email I received about RSVP’ing was after the 9th and they still had available space.
