SOMA Spotlight: Cheap Cupcakes That Hit the Sweet Spot

Here’s another great deal that you might not have heard of. Those of you who have been following LiveSOMA for a while may recall my obsession with (what I consider) the best cup cake bakery in San Francisco. We’ve continued to grow significantly since that review, so I thought I would bring them back into the spotlight and share another great reason to visit them on 9th Street.

Appropriately named Cups and Cakes Bakery, this little sweet spot in SOMA also has a pretty sweet deal on Monday nights! If you head over there anytime after 5 p.m. on Monday’s, they have what they call a ‘Super Happy Hour‘ where everything they sell is buy 1 get 1 FREE.

If you’ve ever tried their Lemon Drop cupcake, or any of the tasty creations that they bake daily, then you already know that that is a fantastic deal!

Before you go, I also recommend following them on Twitter or Facebook because every so often, they’re closed on Mondays. You’ll also be able to mentally prepare for your purchase as they tend to announce (and change) their cupcake flavors daily.

If you haven’t yet tried Cups and Cakes, or more importantly their Lemon Drop Cupcake, I really feel sorry for your taste buds, as these are quite the treat for anyone who likes sweets.
