Photo of the Day: Danger on Third Street

On my way to the Giants game last night, I came across this abomination of a tree stump on Third Street. While you’re heading down to a World Cup game at one of the bars, or going to AT&T Park, be sure to not trip and impale yourself on one of these sharp stumps.

I can’t believe they haven’t put out any sort of caution tape, or otherwise covered this safety hazard. Do you agree? I was shocked to see that. With so many people stumbling around this area of SOMA, what are the odds that someone will end up with a stump stuck through their rib cage?
