Here’s The Scoop On Pedro’s Cantina!

I’ve been doing some investigative research over the past couple of weeks regarding some of the new additions to the neighborhood. This week I plan to update you on some of these establishments who are still in the earlier part of the opening process.

For starters, you may recall last month when LiveSOMA announced that Pedro’s Cantina was coming to South Beach. After some digging, I finally made progress in finding out more about it.

It turns out that Pedro’s Cantina, located at 128 King Street (just across the street from AT&T Park and next door to Pete’s Tavern) is the newest addition to the MoMo’s Family of restaurants. Owned by the same people as Momo’s and Pete’s Tavern, Pedro’s Cantina will more or less complete an entire block worth of bars and restaurants along AT&T Park’s section of King Street.

I managed to get in touch with Pedro’s PR Firm, and they don’t have all that much information at this time because they’re still very early in the construction process. However, they mentioned that the goal is to open by Early August. Other than that, they’re still “finalizing their menu and offering details” and promised to keep me informed of any new developments that I will then relay to you!
