SOMA in the News – April 1, 2010

There’s a lot going on today in Mission Bay. I guess the approach of Opening Day is keeping people busy over there. Here’s the scoop on South of Market today:

• Sometimes I wish we had a delorean. We could go back to 1930 and fix the Bay Bridge for good!

UCSF Set to break ground in Mission Bay this year.

• Help the Giants clean up their stadium. With the money they’re saving on hiring someone to do it…

• …the Giants are working on 16 acres across from AT&T Park to provide more local entertainment and dining options…

• …And possibly a new arena for the Warriors.

• I wonder if Barry Bonds is singing, “Reunited, and it feels so goooood…”

• It took 4 months longer than expected, but they’re finally opening 4th Street, through Mission Bay, to traffic.

Pedestrian Safety could save the City millions!

This Muni fiasco might ruin the City. At least we all could benefit from a health-perspective.
