There’s a (relatively) new American Cafe on Mission Street near Yerba Buena Gardens. I’m not exactly sure as to when it first opened, but I finally had the chance to take a photo for the directory entry.

I stopped in the other day to grab a menu (see link above), and it felt like a great place to grab some comfort food. I guess I would describe it as having a hunter’s lodge feel, or maybe a warm cabin in the woods. I didn’t have time to eat while I was there, but the menu looks great and I look forward to stopping in for mac and cheese soon!
