Bar Basic Grand Opening, March 9th

The owner of Bar Basic, on Brannan Street, contacted me yesterday and asked me to invite you to their official Grand Opening event next Tuesday night.

Beginning at 6 pm, they’ll be featuring “a night full of drink specials and raffle prizes.” The drink specials include 2 for 1 beverages from 6 – 7 pm and starting at 7 pm, they’re giving away 150 tacos with the first 150 drinks ordered. They’ll also hold an hourly raffle starting at 6:39 pm, with the grand prize being awarded at 10:39 pm.

Those of you who are friends of LiveSOMA on Facebook know that I stop in Bar Basic every so often for Happy Hour. I personally think this is one of the better bars in that area of SOMA, and I think you will too. The bartenders are fun and friendly and the owner is very approachable. The music is always fitting and every time I go in, it seems like locals in that part neighborhood are becoming more and more accustomed to their newest bar. Stop in next Tuesday and say hello.
