I stopped into Durso Italian Deli for lunch today. They offer a lunchtime combo that features your choice of sandwich, salad and drink (homemade lemonade or iced tea) for $7.25! I opted for the Italian style ham, Rosette De Lyon Salami, Provolone and roasted peppers on sourdough bread, tortellini and mushroom salad and a half-and-half blend of lemonade and iced tea.

Overall, it was a pretty decent meal for $7.25, and I would definitely go back again if I were in the area. Surprisingly, there was a long and consistent line throughout the time that I was there. It seems like there’s rarely a line anywhere in that area other than Safeway. The counter help is very helpful and friendly and the portions were big enough that $7.25 isn’t a bad deal at all.

Their website is pretty straight forward, but you can place a take-out order and cut the line when you pick up. I’d say the wait was about 10 minutes from the time I placed my order, so if you’re in a rush, maybe order online.
