I have since eaten here, and we’re hoping to have our review in the next week or so. Stay tuned…
Original Post from December 21st, 2009:
I’m excited to announce a new South Indian restaurant has now opened in South of Market! Ruchi is replacing the former Naan & Chutney location over on Third Street, and I couldn’t be happier. I never had the chance to try out Naan & Chutney because it was closed for a while, but any new restaurant (especially if they’re open on weekends!!!) is welcome in the neighborhood. I’m not entirely sure of the difference between South Indian cuisine and traditional Indian cuisine, but I’ve heard that South Indian cuisine tends to be spicier. Can’t wait to try it!
