Yesterday afternoon, I took a walk down to the waterfront to catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels surveying the skies above San Francisco Bay for their upcoming Fleet Week Airshow.
I’d read they would be flying from Noon – 5pm, but it turned out to be about 1:00 – 5:00. I also thought the waterfront would be a good spot to view them because of the open space, but it turned out that they were flying all over the city and the bay area, so there really was no need to be at the water’s edge to see them. In fact, if you were out and about in the city and did not see them, perhaps you should get your hearing and vision checked. They were very loud, and very apparent.
If you took some good pics of the Angels flying around, please feel free to send them in and we’ll post them for you right here.
