Saturday: Shake Your Balinese!

Leave it to Yerba Buena Gardens to provide us all with something culturally different. Earlier in the week, they featured live Polka. Tomorrow afternoon, as part of their YB Gardens Festival, they’ll be hosting a free Indonesian Music and Dance show from 1-3 p.m.

Gamelan Sekar Jaya and Puska Sunda will share their love for Balinese music and dance, as well as a performance of the classical music of West Java’s gamelan degung – a 10-piece set of bronze percussion instruments, suling and drums. For more information, check the YBGF’s Website.
