Starting Today: Once Upon a Dream

The Cartoon Art Museum is opening a new exhibit called “Once Upon A Dream: The Art Of Sleeping Beauty” with a reception this evening. 

Please join the Cartoon Art Museum for a reception celebrating our latest exhibition, Once Upon A Dream:  The Art of Sleeping Beauty on Saturday, August 15, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:00pm.  Special guest Ron Dias will be present to discuss his career as an animation artist and illustrator, with a special focus on his role in the creation of the Walt Disney classic Sleeping Beauty. 

The reception is free, and open to the public, so if you like Disney, or cartoon art in general, it would benefit you to go check it out. Tickets to the exhibit are $2 – $6. Head over to their website for more exhibit and ticket info.
