This is one of the more interesting concepts that I’ve come across.  City Beer Store is part beer store, part tasting bar.  They have up to 6 beers on tap, and a total of more than 300 different beers in stock.  You can also order kegs.

But what’s most interesting about the City Beer Store is that you don’t have to buy their beer in six packs, you can ‘mix and match’ your purchase AND feel free to crack it open in the store.

We wanted to create a friendly neighborhood spot to sip a beer while you browse the shelves. Each customer is deserving of a unique shopping experience rather than a formula sell. Our hope is for beer to be treated with the same respect as a fine wine or fine bourbon. Through continued education and tasting of many brews we will create a beer force to be reckoned with!
