Vans Warped Tour 2009

Right now, down at Pier 30 and 32, thousands of Emo and Punk fans are assembling for the 15th Annual Vans Warped Tour.  This year, bands such as 3oh! 3, Bad Religion, Devil Wears Prada, Fishbone, Ivy League, NOFX, The Ataris, Total Chaos (and about 50-60 others) are ripping up the pier.  

There’s also a skateboard half pipe, Vans related product vendors and a whole mess of other stuff to entertain you while you wait for the music.  Check out the Warped Tour website for more information.  

I was down by there for Brunch at the Hi Dive Bar and Restaurant when I saw this event, and it looked sold out.  However, if you don’t have tickets, it seemed like there were a lot of extras floating around.  What a beautiful day to be outside though!
