K&L Wines is a small California based Wine Merchant with a location at 638 Fourth Street in South of Market, San Francisco. Nearly 300 people have provided reviews above with a consistent average rating of 4.5 stars, so that should tell you something.

K&L Wines takes wine and spirits very seriously, which is a good thing.  The store is huge, and offers a large variety of wine from all over the world.  You can sign up for their email newsletter which offers suggestions, event notifications and wine club information.

Walking around the store, I was impressed at all of the different ‘Staff Picks’ that spanned all regions (as well as prices).  I even picked up a few bottles on my way out, and have yet to be disappointed.

As I said before, it helps that they are so passionate about wine and spirits because that makes it a lot easier for an amateur such as myself to find a decent bottle of wine, for any occasion.
